The village of Little
Staughton is in rural north east
Bedfordshire approx. 50 miles north of
London.
The
village benefits from the parish church,
Baptist chapel & Farm shop (Top End
Stores). Many groups and activities meet at Village
Hall & “The Crown” Public House for an
all year round calendar of events (detailed
in the village newsletter)
Little
staughton has a long history including a WW2
airfield that hosted both USAAF and RAF
squadrons of bomber aircraft. Some of the
airfield remains in the form of an industrial
estate with private light aircraft still flying
and out from the one remaining runway. |
