The village of
Little Staughton is in rural north east Bedfordshire
approx. 50 miles north of London.
The village benefits from the parish
church, Baptist chapel & Farm shop (Top End
Stores). Many groups and activities
meet at THE Village Hall & “The Crown” Public
House for an all year round calendar of events
(detailed in the village newsletter)
Little staughton has a long history
including a WW1 & WW2 airfield that hosted both
USAAF and RAF squadrons of bomber aircraft. Some of the
WW2 airfield remains in the form of an industrial estate
with private light aircraft still flying out from the
one remaining runway. |
